Leila Wylie Wagner was born in Gainesville, FL in 1987. She went to high school at the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, for writing, and is currently an Anthropology major at Brooklyn College.

In 2004, she self-published a short run of a chap book called I Was a God in Spain. She received several honors for her writing throughout high school, including a poetry award from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts in 2005.

She still writes, but has to be on the receiving end of a bludgeoning threat to actually share it anymore, which is silly. We hope to publish a book by her in the near future.
